2026 The Basketball Tournament (TBT) Results and Schedule
The 2026 TBT will be played this season with the winning team getting $2 million dollars. This year's format is a little different than in the past. There will be eight Alumni teams and six Non-Alumni teams battling for the $2 million dollar prize. They are broken down with the eight Alumni teams playing a best of three series in the opening round of the tournament.
After the best of three series, the next rounds of the tournament for the Alumni bracket will be a one and done format. For the Non-Alumni side of the bracket, they will play a pool league format with a knockout round to determine who will win the Non-Alumni side of the bracket. The Alumni champion will play against the Non-Alumni champion for the championship game to decide who wins the grand prize of $2 million dollars.
All Alumni games will be played on college campuses, while all Non-Alumni games will be played in Las Vegas. Aftershocks (Wichita State) won this tournament in 2025.
