Grizzlies Morant traded to Trail Blazers.

Ja Morant's times with Memphis is over. The Grizzlies sent Morant to the Trailblazers in exchange for Jerami Grant and Kris Murray. In his first four seasons with the Grizzlies, Morant was a Rookie of the Year and a two-time NBA All-Star. Morant has also battled injuries and off-court issues that have set him back.

Paraguay takes down Germany in a shocking upset.

Four-time World Cup winner Germany was eliminated from the FIFA World Cup in the round of 32 in a 4-3 penalty shootout against Paraguay. Germany is leaving the tournament much earlier than expected. Paraguay will now play in the Round of 16 to take on the winner of France against Sweden. In the nightcap on Monday night, Morocco upset Netherlands in another penalty shootout 3-2 to move on to the round of 16 to play Canada on Saturday.

The Maple Leafs select McKenna with NHL Draft's top pick.

Last weekend, Gavin McKenna, was overall top pick of the NHL Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs. McKenna played one season at Penn State and was the Big Ten scoring champion. Many are saying that McKenna could be one of the next great players in the NHL.

Terrion Arnold cut by Detroit Lions

Shortly after being arrested for kidnaping and armed robbery charges, Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold was released by the team. Over the past two seasons, Arnold had started 22 games while appearing in 24 contests. Over those games played, Arnold defended 18 passes and recorded an interception.
